We are excited to host a student from overseas who would like to learn about Canada. As a teacher, I will help the student integrate into Canadian culture and educational expectations. Our rules mainly consist of respecting a quiet time in the evening rule that can be decided once the student has arrived. It is expected the student will clean their own dishes, room, and laundry. Also, should the student be school-aged we ask that keeping in regular communication with host to be safe and share where they are and when they can be expected at home. As a family we are mutually respectful, we are very warm and caring. We love to share these values with our guest and expect that they will share the same.
