Hosting in New Westminster since 2017My home is situated in New Westminster- It is a large 2 bedroom in a rental building. I am only 10 12 minute walk from Douglas College- or a 4 stop bus ride and 4-5 minute walk. It is also just a 10 - 12 minute walk to New West Secondary School. I have 1 room available approximately 9.5 x 10. 5 It has a double bed, 2 bedside tables, lamps and an alarm clock with a wifi and blue tooth speaker. There is a 5 drawer tall dresser- the drawers are 18" wide. There is a 4 shelf bookcase A square table 32" suitable for a desk Plus a full size closet All utilities included We are on the first floor. There is a laundry room in the basement that costs 2$ per wash and 2$ per dry. I have a car as well so may be able to drop off at school sometimes or skytrain.. I have not done had a homestay experience but I am a very responsible 56 year young professional female. I have no problem providing meals as I cook a fair bit, or monitoring the student and spending time with them. I am interested in getting a student and I do not mind it they are young. They would be welcomed into my home and as I have family in Langley, they would meet them as well. I have an old senior dog who is deaf and going blind- she is 17 years. I also have 2 cats one is about 10 and 1 is 7. If the student would like to use the kitchen to cook they are welcome too. I welcome any nationality and would do my absolute best to make them feel welcome at all times. I could even help them with their English. I would prefer female students.

I would prefer a student who does not have pets.
Also - there would be no drug no drinking. no smoking or parties allowed.

There is laundry in the building for 2$ per wash and per dry. You will be responsible for your own laundry.
