Hi there, my name is Makeda. I am an artist (published writer) I mostly work from home. For many years I worked at York University { Toronto) Centre for Academic Writing as a tutor (one on one) for the student body who needed help with writing and expressing their thoughts. I also have experience hosting international students. Presently I live alone, there is lots of space in this largefriendly home. It is an easy going household. The neighbourhood is safe and quite. Close to parks, shopping, cafes, major hospitals and public transporation. Close to many diverse shops and places (Korea town, Little Italy) Little Chile, South Asian and Filipino shops and Kensington Market and China town. It makes a great introduction to Toronto. The house is close to many schools, colleges, and universities. Your bedroom has large windows overlooking trees and includes all the necessary for your student life I love to read, visit different neighbourhoods in Toronto, trying new food, love diversity, different kinds of music and gardening.. I welcome students who are outgoing or shy and quiet. Good honest communication is very important. You will enjoy your stay here.
