About Marco's family
Hosting in Etobicoke since 2020Hello, my name is Marco. I would be happy to accept and introduce the student into my circle of friends and family. I also have a 25 year old daughter that does not live with me which I can also introduce you to. I look forward to making a joyful homestay for you. I live upstairs and making one bedroom available upstairs as well. The room comes with a lock and we can discuss rules and expectations as we connect. I provide wifi, I have a TV and comfortable sofa for viewing in the front room with Netflix, YouTube and PrimeVideo available. Sorry i have no cable tv. Food I will leave food in the fridge and the student can help themselves to what they want. I am happy to have conversations to help the student practice their english. I am providing materials for food however I may often have cooked food in the refrigerator which the student can simply microwave or heat up when they wish. Location I am located within a 5 minute drive to Etobicoke General Hospital, Humber College, Woodbine Mall (including movie theater). 5 minute walk to the Islington bus or the Albion bus. One bus on either road will take you to a subway location, Islington Station is on the Bloor Line #1 and Wilson Subway station on LIne #2. Many restaurants are located near by including a variety of Asian, Indian, Thai, etc. I do not use a home phone so the student is responsible for their own cellular phone account. I will include the student on any suitable outings where possible such as hiking, walking, cycling etc.

House rules
I expect the student to be clean, respectfully quiet, smoking outside only, no pets, no parking space for car. Overnight guests not allowed however as long as arranged timing with me in advance a few guests welcome for visits, just not overnight. Laundry facilities are not available in the home. A coin operated laundry facility is located nearby and when my time or schedule permits I am willing to drive the student to the coin operated laundry facility. Student is responsible for their own expenses including telephone. Students must keep their room neat and tidy, clean up after themselves after use of the washroom, shower, kitchen etc. I will provide very simple instructions on how to maintain the newly renovated washroom. As well curfew time can be discussed based on the individual.
