Our house is located in Arbutus Ridge in a quiet and safe residential area. We are a few blocks from 41st Ave with buses to UBC (30 min), to Langara College (30 min), to the Canada Line Oakridge station (15 min) and to downtown (35 min). We are also a short walk from the Kerrisdale village, with shops and a community center. We are walking distance from Prince of Wales Secondary, Point Grey Seconday and Magee Secondary, and a short bus-ride to most other west-side secondary schools. We are a professional couple with a daughter in a nearby seconday school. We are looking for someone who is independent and respectful of our home. It would be ideally suited to a student with a busy schedule, who needs a comfortable and safe environment, and a quiet room to relax and/or study. The monthly fee is $1,300 for a private room with shared washroom. This includes all utilities (heat, electricity, water) as well as access to laundry facilities and WiFi. We do not provide meals, but guests can use our kitchen to prepare their own meals and we provide an extra fridge for food storage.
